A Message From Big Grins Regarding Covid-19

A message from Big Grins regarding COVID-19. I wanted to reassure you that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and preparing for any potential impacts to our dental practice community. Our goal is to stay well-informed, plan effective protocols, and, as always, keep the safety of our patient families and team a priority.

As a pediatric dental practice, we already follow the highest standards of infection control and utilize universal precautions with every patient. As an added precaution, we’ve expanded our office cleaning protocol and are wiping contact surfaces like doorknobs, toys, toilet handles, bathroom faucets and desk counter-tops many times throughout the day. We are utilizing emerging information to establish screening procedures for all patients and team, as well as safety protocols to minimize the chance for transmission of ANY communicable disease within our office.

When you come into the office, please either wash your hands or use the hand sanitizers at the front desk. We ask that if you or your children are sick, please exercise caution and reschedule their appointments. Please reschedule if your child has any symptoms of acute respiratory illness such as cough, fever, sneezing, or shortness of breath.

We are closely monitoring the CDC’s recommendations, and following potential closures of local school districts. If schools do close, we will follow protocols and revise our schedule to allow for social distancing. As one of your healthcare providers, we vow to be available for you and your family. We will update this as the situation changes. Please contact us if you have any questions.

All the best and stay healthy,
Dr. Greg
